Sometimes all it takes is to reframe what has happened. If you can’t do that for yourself, try to find someone who can do it for you … someone who can give you another way of looking at it that raises the possibility of it being a great happening.
Most difficult situations bring us valuable information or stop us from heading off in a certain direction. We can look at that as the end of our world, or see it as an indication that there are better things, better suited for us ahead. We can either get lost in feeling sorry for us and hanging on to what has just ended or keep our head up and eyes open to watch for the next opportunity. It all has to do with the value we place on ourselves and our lives, whether we see this as punishment or a blessing and really … the choice is always yours.
